I have been dying to eat at Whispering Canyon and since we will be there during the Sleigh Ride I thought - hmmm an opportunity. I wasn't sure whether my husband will appreciate it. He's not one who likes to be hugged/touched by strangers (even the characters) - and I've read about them putting hats on the head and some of the other things which my daughter and everyone else in my family would think was a riot - alas not him. He would be mortified (he's shy) if any attention was brought his way. Should I pass on the idea?

Well, personally, I wouldn't eat there for any meal but breakfast - I think the food at dinner is just horrible, blecch!!

But if you really want to try the food, just be sure to let your server know that your husband would be very unhappy to have a lot of attention. They know their tips depend on keeping you happy, so that should keep him/her low-key with your spouse.

That's a good question. My family wants to go to Prime Time Cafe and one member is REALLY a "stay away from me" type. We were thinking of just mentioning something to the CM at the podium because they can make a note on your seating card. We'll see . . .

In case you are unaware of this, there is an area behind the fireplace that is quiet, cozy, and out of the mainstream. You could request this and/or make a note on the ressie about your hubby's preferences.

thanks for the suggestion - seems obvious but I never would have thought to ask. Thanks for also opening up the other topic on recent reviews of this restaurant.
