Men of Tagrel 2007 Calendar - Now on Sale

I've brought up the idea before, quite possibly last year at this time. There was a good response but nothing more was done after just talking about it. This time it's going to happen. I've talked with Dave and he gave it a thumbs up.

This will be a great fundraiser for the website and a fantastic piece of eye candy for every home.

Gentlemen, please post if you plan to attend MouseFest so I can see who's available for the calendar. Photos will be tasteful if not funny but it wouldn't hurt to start hitting the gym. ;) We do like muscles, you know.

Gentlemen don't be afraid, this calendar is going to be fun and besides Dave has final approval on all images. I'm certain he doesn't want to see any of you in periwinkle loincloths. Unless of course it means we'll raise enough money from the calendars for him to retire next year. ;)

I'll be there but I believe that the camera doesn't like me very much. I should probably hit the gym for my belly, but my arms and legs are pretty muscular because I walk a lot.

May I suggest Ronski for one month? I see you have the others I would have recommended so far. Don't know all the guys in here that are newbies so can't say but I'd buy a calendar no matter who was on it.

I saw the "Full Monty" several times (and bought a copy) and think if the lights are out, just a flash is all you need to see the Full Monty. Of course, as the eldest grandmother on site, I would definitely have my eyes closed!!!

Hey everyone, let's thank Lisa for the large amount of work she's putting in to bring us a calendar. I think for all of her time and effort and talent she's putting into arranging photoshoots, developing pictures, assembling final product, putting it on sale, etc., we should allow her the priviledge of arranging Men of Tagrel 2007 in her own way.

As I think we all do, I try be senstive to other's feelings ~ that was my concern and why I was wondering about the selection process.

I'm not sure about the others, but Lisa had PM'd me many months ago(not sure exactly when) about being in the calander. I assume that everyone was contacted that way. Of course, me being ME, I could not give her a straight answer as to weather or not I'd be going to MF or not. I told her that I would do my best to get to MR and not to give my spot away.

I am still not sure, but its not looking good. Of course, if Lisa wants meet me down there in October, I'd be happy to smile.:D

Make sure anyone on the list is ready to fill my spot if I don't make it!!

As is the case with most casting calls, the men were forced to become engaged to me and offer me a choice between a diamond ring and a Canon L series lens.;)

As Dennis stated he was approached a while ago about modeling for the calendar. This holds true for other gentlemen as well. Perhaps I should have stated in my original post that the guys needed to actually say that they were volunteering to be a part of the calendar, as I did not take any posts about simply being at MF as a form of signing-up.

Luckily, my recent vacation coinsided with both Beast and Timon's. The shoots went extremely well and were funny too. I'm very grateful that they were able to fit me into their schedules.

If any of the men feel left out, please send me a message.

Hmmm a sneak peek...well I can tell you that Timon wore a tuxedo and you can see a snapshot of him and his wife Janice on Frogman's trip report. Beast was dressed less formally and was surrounded by water. Frogman was "forced" into a Hawaiian shirt and made to do manual labor.:) What lies ahead? A cowboy, an athlete, and a patriot.

Hi there. :) Thanks for the offer but I'm doing all of the photography myself. It's easiest to shoot for this calendar at MouseFest since that's a major gathering event. I have already photographed 3 fellows and I'll be shooting another one shortly.
