My December Trip was planned very quickly & is a budget trip but I would like to bring my co-workers a little gift. Can you help me in thinking of something small & inexpensive? I thought of those little sticky notes they sell as one idea.

Magnets for the refrigerator! On our last trip, I bought tons and tons. Of course, they were all for me! 8)

Will you have a car Margaret? I'd suggest trying the two Disney Outlet stores at the Belz Outlet Mall. I always find some of the cutest things there for gifts. Great prices also.

Yes I will have a car but this is a very short trip so doubt that I will have time to go offsite. We arrive Friday morning & will be leaving on Monday morning.

Well, my favorite $10 gift (a bit much for a little gift, but great deal for special gift) is a monogrammed glass mug from the crystal and glass store (there is one in DtD and in Germany at Epcot). You can get a mug of your favorite character and have a name etched on it. We used the beer mugs and gave them as coffee mugs.
A low cost gift can also be the packages of teas or coffees from many of the Disney gift stores (there for sure have them in World of Disney). You get 8-10 little canisters of coffee or tea for around $14. Then we just split them up and hand them out!

Ok, seeing how my favorite shopping place (Belz Outlet Mall) is out, I like the ideas of the memo pads, and the magnets. What about pens or key chains? AKL also ahs some really neat things that would make unique gifts, like the hand carved wooden salad utensils, or the wooden wine bottle corks. I'll think some more.

In the past I have brought back the Mickey Mints tinned similarly to Altoids. There are different flavors and the mints themselves are shaped like Disney characters. There are several different tins featuring different characters too. For the regualr Altoids size tin they cost about $3 but there are much larger tins for a much larger price. These were very big hits when I brought them back.
I have also brought back large boxes of different candies and/or cookies for the group to share.
Other ideas:
There is a stand outside a shop in AK and also in Frontier land in MK that sells braided leather bracelets that have a smooth section that you can have a name embossed onto. They were $8 in 2001.
In the Land Pavillion in Epcot after you exit the Land ride there is a shop that sells Mickey's Gardens. These are cylinders that contain miniature plants grown in the Land from a single cell of a mother plant. They are packaged at Epcot in a growing medium that has all the nutrients needed for survival until they outgrow the container. They range in price from $6 - $12 and a large variety of plants are available. In January of this year I bought 2 African violets and 1 palm tree. All three lived in their cylinders for about 6 months and are now thriving in their new containers. Other plant choices included orange trees, Christmas cactus, pineapple, spider plants and others that escape me now. There is a garden shop at Downtown Disney that also offers these and at the time they had a wider variety than the shop outside the land. They are really cool and include information on the tissue culture process at Epcot.
Also at Epcot a very popular souvineer I have brought back are the Japaneese Lucky Cats from the Mitsutoki Deptartment Store. They are little cat figurines that range in size and price from tiny (about $1.50 for a 1" tall one) to large. They come in muliple colors with each color representing an area of life that you want to improve like love, money, success, grades in school etc. They give you a little paper with them that tells you the significance of each color. At the end of the year you are supposed to dispose of the old lucky cats and get new ones. Since I will be going in December I will be loading up on the Lucky Cats for me, my nieces, my co-workers and friends.
I am also usually bogged down on the way home by the rice krispies treats that everyone requests when I go to WDW and bags and bags and bags of Sour Mickey Head candies.
I think that's all for now. I love to shop - can't you tell? :minnie:

The World of Disney store in DD has a lot of items that make perfect little gifts as well.
Something everybody seems to like are the Mickey eared bottle openers. These retail for $6 each and they make great stocking stuffers. And so you don't have to haul it all back with you, just have Disney ship it home for you! Takes just a few days and you will not have to pay any sales tax which helps pay for the shipping.
