So what are you watching on TV these days?
I'm addicted to Trading Spaces, and I like While You Were Out.
I love all the home improvement shows, like This Old House, the New Yankee Workshop, Home Again, and Hometime.
I never miss Enterprise, or Stargate SG-1.
I don't answer the phone while Friends, Scrubs, CSI, and ER are on. I've started watching CSI: Miami a lot lately, and JAG on Tuesday nights.
I often find myself watching documentaries on the Science Channel and Discovery Civilization and Discovery Wings.

I'm right there with you on JAG, Will. I had the murder victim guessed right off tonight, but who is the real murderer? Wonder if it will be a two parter or three parter.
I also love Trading Spaces. Haven't watched While You Were Out as much. Other favorites are Travel Channel anything, Survivor, Amazing Race when it is on, 24, Iron Chef and Sopranos and Sex and the City when they are running new episodes.

American Idol is the only show I watch. I went for a whole year without watching any TV but Pammy K got me interested in American Idol. Go Ruben!!!!!!
I actually have a terrible problem watching TV-I always fall asleep!

It's fun to find out what y'all are watching these days.
We watch Survivor, West Wing, and the Sopranos. I sometimes watch Great Hotels and Trading Spaces. My dh is also hooked on JAG and 24 -- he's watching season one of 24 on dvd and will do the same for season two (he didn't want to start part-way in).
We also watch a lot of the shows about prehistoric creatures on the Discovery Channel. I have walked with dinosaurs, wooly mammoths, nasty saber-toothed critters, and giant sloths!

p.s. to Will -- Allison and I met Steve Thomas in a local Starbucks a couple years back. I was amazed by how friendly he is and we had a fun time talking about our kids.

Will, Valerie is a big fan of those home improvement shows too - she can drive me nuts with those sometimes. I don't mind them when there is nothing else on and I just want to sit and veg and watch TV.
Reality TV - I watch Survivor, Amazing Race, The Mole. I'm ashamed to admit I actually watched all but the first episode of Married By America - so glad no one got married on that show.
I don't have cable so I only see cable shows on vacation, but I love the Travel Shows & Discovery Shows. Over Christmas break we watched a lot of "Surprise by Design" (like While you were Out). It was on about the time we were getting our slow butts going, so we had it on then.
Watch quite a bit of Public TV on weekends - cooking shows, travel shows, and science shows.
During the week besides Survivor I don't have a lot of must see shows. I lke Gilmore Girls, Everwood, Ed, ER, Judging Amy. Sometimes shows like Law & Order and CSI, but I usually end up doing other things during those shows, so only half watching. I'm sure there are others, just don't come to mind right now.

I watch Survivor, American Idol, Trading Spaces, While you were out, Changing Rooms and Ground force. These are the shows I watch most regulary. Now that my hubby is tired of the internet, it gives me more computer time, so I'm here more than anyplace else! LOL

OK I admit it, I'm a reality show junkie! We actually have a get together at our house every Thurs. for Survivoir! (I'm winning the pool so far this season). I also enjoy Amazing Race, Fear Factor, American Idol, Sorority Life, and yes we even watched Mr. Personality this week!
Besides reality I'm hooked on Buffy, CSI, ER, Law And Order: SVU, and Crossing Jordan. And most of the HBO shows.
Since I'm currently laid up with my ankle I've been watching Trading Spaces, ER reruns and lots of the game show network.

:tink: Friends, NYPD Blue, CSI & CSI Miami, All the Law & Orders, Crossing Jordan, Sopranos & any mafia stuff on the history or biography channel. :tv: Bll O'Reilly, Bill Maher. I love all the Planets Funniest Videos/Animals. I love Ozzy Osbourne & Black Sabbath! Saw them at the Fleet center the last time around. :bounce: I love Ozzy & his wife Sharon. Not a reality show person at all. The bug hasn't bit me. I think that's it. :tink:

I would say in our house either one of two things are generally on:
Home improvement shows (huge Trading Spaces, Family Trading Spaces, While You Were Out, etc. fans.) Everyone enjoys watching what happens on these shows. My son has just got us to watch Monster Garage and it is moving up on our favorite list. My kids are huge Nascar Fans and absolutely would die for the Nascar house they did!!
Reality TV - My daughter and I watch whatever happens to be on. Some we watch more faithfully than others. Love Amazing Race, the Mole, American Idol (right now Kids Idol), Survivor. My daughter even got into the Last Comic Standing which ended last night.
We consider ourselves "hooked" on these shows!!!

:tink: I love to watch the Trading Spaces type shows but only get a chance to when my DH is upstairs recording his original music on CD's. He's not into it at all!
One time when I was watching someone did make their child's room into a very cool 8) Nascar room. Did you see that one? It's amazing what they can do with a pretty small budget. I think we could actually do it cheaper. :D :tink:
Ok, I am a freak. My two favorite shows aren't on anyone's list....
Tied for #1 by far: Alias and Boomtown. IMO, Boomtown is probably the best show on network TV. I have literally been brought to tears a number of times by that show.
The other shows I make time to watch are Scrubs, Friends, and Law and Order. If I remember on Friday nights, I'll watch L&O: SVU.
My two favorite cable channel shows are Queer Eye For the Straight Guy and Trading Spaces. I really only make an effort to make sure I watch QEFtSG, though.
We don't have any pay networks, so I don't watch any of those awesome shows on HBO and Showtime.
Honestly, ever since this reality craze has started, I have really gotten away from TV. I hate reality TV ( I don't consider TS or QEFtSG "reality TV" the way Survivor, Fear Factor, or Joe Millionaire are "reality TV") . Before reality TV, I would have 2 or 3 shows per night that I thought were good and that I wanted to invest my time in (I really miss Party of 5, Once and Again, ER with Anthony Edwards, Chicago Hope, and NYPD Blue with Jimmy Smits and/or Rick Schroeder :( ).
Waaah!!! I hope the networks get off the reality kick soon....

:tink: AmyA, OMG, How could I forget Boomtown??? Great show. Other shows that I love in case I didn't mention them are The District & The Agency. I cannot believe they're taking The Agency off the air. Couldn't believe it. I wrote to the network to ask them to keep it on. Thanks for mentioning Boomtown. Did I mention Lost Without A Trace? :tink:
