I'm going, and my lovely friend Geri will be my partner in crime...errr...fun.

In a meeting yesterday my boss announced that the biggest part of my job every quarter was going to take place the day after we run annual renewal invoices from here on out. Naturally in December the annual renewal invoices are being run on Dec. 7 which means that my big day is Dec. 8. I've also learned that Studios at all the on-site DVC resorts are now all waitlisted for the MF time period. So as much as I'd love to make it to MF this year there's just no way it's going to happen even if the money fell out of the sky into my lap. Unfortunely not only does the "?" next to my name have to be taken off the list, my entire name needs to be removed too. I know you're all going to have a magical time. Think of me during the Wishes Meet with the knowledge that I "wish" I could be there with you.

I called DVC to see about changing to the previous week, but all the DVC resorts (1 bedroom & studios) are booked for that week! Unfortunately, I need to be taken off the Mousefest list. :cry:

Chuck (my DH) has accepted a job in California, so our family will be moving to San Diego. We're very excited about this move, and it will be a great opportunity for all of us. But it means I will not be able to attend Mousefest. Chuck will be leaving for CA this week, but I will be staying here in Kentucky so that our sons can finish this semester of school (they are in high school) and I can get our house ready to sell. We will be joining Chuck in CA in December, less than two weeks after Mousefest.

I'm very sad that I'll miss seeing everyone at Mousefest. On the other hand, I'm excited to be planning my first-ever trip to Disneyland. It will be nice to live so close to a Disney park, and we plan to go there often. Hopefully I'll be seeing some of you at DL meets in the future!

Mousefest has grown SOOOO Much since our first one in 2003 and again in 2004. I am so depressed that we can't make it again this year as we were just in DW and to La to visit newest grandson.
I AM making a supreme effort to get there in 2007 and have five days left on a ten day park hopper to use so far. Just need to get there and find a room (I might go without DH if I have to!!).

Please remember me and know that I would LOVE to be there with all of you, knowing how much fun it is to meet old and new Taginators and how beautiful DW looks during Mousefest. Have a Mickey Bar or Dole Whip on me!!!

Have a fantastic time and laugh and laugh until you can't laugh any more!!!!
