Lots of news - Mission Space, Everest, Pop Century

See the post in Park Talk from Tiltawhilr - "Great Imagineering Day". Reported official openings of Mission Space for August with soft openings in June. Also, official notice of Everest in Asia.

According to Intercot Pop Century is to open on December 14 and they are now taking reservations.

My DD told me the other day that someone she knew that works at the Allstars (don't know which one), told her they would be shutting down some of the Allstar buildings and replace the missing rooms with Pop Century Rooms. I didn't know how true that was since the info wasn't from a manager, but it sounds like it just might be true. So along with the opening of part of Pop Century opening, be on the lookout for parts of Allstars to close.

Just read an announcement that Pop Century is supposed to open on Dec 14th. Nothing was said about closing down part of All Stars, but if rehab is needed, that would sure make sense!

Looks like Deb Wills' Site and Mousesavers both are reporting a Dec. 14 opening for Pop Century. It must be true. Too bad it won't be open for mousefest :cry:

IMHO, not just for rehab; but they've been putting off the opening of Pop Century for over a year. What a smart way to open up a new resort by media reports of full booking by funneling 'value' guests into the new resort. I'm not saying that's bad, just a Disney way of publicity thinking.
