In last week the submarine lagoon was fill with water and sub was move out from the show tunnel.
the new show is still a year away.
Now the sub are tie to the docks.
the report is the water will drain a tent over the subs so disney can work inside sub and drive system.

Thanks for the update!

Any word on whether those are brand new subs, or if they rehabbed old subs?

I always get confused. I 'think' WDW had the modern looking subs, while DL's subs had a 20,000 Leagues look.

Hmm.. I never noticed the 'Nemo' connection before.

you are see is the Old Disneyland Sub that rust remove and body filler, prime and paint.

DL was the Sub and WDW have the 20,000 leagues look.

the concrete buliding is going be a New type show for Nemo.:D

the Queue line need to redon and the Monorail station will be redon too.

this is some time in 2007.

Thanks, it's been so long I forgot.

So we had the (Captain) Nemo subs from 20,000 Leagues, and DL gets the Nemo (the fish!) attraction.

Interesting..........will be fun to see the finished product.

So not being familiar with the subs - how does one actually ride those things? Inside, on top of, astride? Underwater, on top of water, in and out of water?

How many people fit in/on/around/under each?

And what was the previous ride actually like - assuming they will use the same track as the previous ride?

under the blue tarp there is a stairs that you use to get the sub.
If remember that each sub can fit about 40 people. Each person get there own port hole to look out from.

You can enter from bow and the stern.

The photo show How deep the sub will go down.

basely the ride will use the same track as the old.
The ole ride took you to the under the ice cap and the fish move with string and track.
most of the AA move in two directions.
Now Disney going use srceen in the water and better AA.

WoW! 40 people! They just don't look that big in the photos. mmm small enclosed area under water wihth 39 of my closest friends.....no sure how I would feel about that! :D

Sorry for being dense, but what does AA mean?
