Hotel Clubs

I know that this has been mentioned before, but thought I'd just relay what happened this last trip. When staying at a Holiday Inn, (the Mulberry Inn) in historic Savannah, I saved the $8 a day parking fee b/c of the priority club membership. Since I had no reservations and did not know where I'd be staying, I printed out a listed of my club memberships before I left.

Even tho Disney doesn't have clubs, we all know the Swan and Dolphin do. And this might help some who are driving to Disney. I join all the clubs. Never know when you might save a buck or two... :lol:

Thanks Sharon! My DH travels extensively and I sign him up for every hotel club I can. It really pays off, especially with 4-day PHP's from Hilton Honors. I just got my 7th one! Already used the first 4. I'm gonna use 2 to trade up to AP's this December and hope to earn 1 more so that we can surprise both our sons with a short trip over Spring Break. YAY!

I love Starwood Club- we have stayed twice at the Dolphin on Club level free with points totalling 10 days. DH travels extensively for work and I look at these as "my perks" of not having him home when car breaks down ect. In fact I flew free to Hawaii and DD#3 and I are both flying free to Charlotte SC in January because of "my perks" :bounce: :bounce:

Nancy, What is this ? 4-day PHP? I admit i'm not really familiar with any of the details of the hotel clubs. I just join all incase it gets me an upgrade or another perk when staying. I guess I should check these all out .. I might be missing some good deals... thanks..

With Hilton Honors, you get points for staying at their hotels. With those points, you can either get a free hotel stay, or they also offer other perks. One of them being the 4-day Park Hopper Plus tickets for Disney World (PHP). THough they are quite a few points, if you are a business travelor or just stay a lot at hotels, then it can add up pretty quicky. You can also get 2-day passes for Universal Studios.
