Hi all!!!
I haven't gotten any mailings or anything since taking a Disney Cruise last May....how often do they "usually" contact previous cruisers with info/deals? Am I supposed to have some kind of member number or something for booking future cruises?
AND,one more....how far out would one need to book a cruise to take advantage of "Early Booking Savings"? (I don't remember how far in advance I booked last time,I THINK it was a year out,but I'm not totally sure)....what's the cut-off for 'Early Booking Savings"?
Thanks!! :captain:

Hi Minnie321:wave: !!!

You should have gotten your Castaway Club number by now. :? We went on the 3 day last December and we got ours about 4-6 weeks after the cruise. Since we are doing a 7 day next month I wanted to make sure they were attached to our ressies. You can call Disney directly and they can give you your number. I did that in early Jan cause I wasn't sure when they would come.

As for discounts/specials for past cruisers I have yet to receive anything yet.:( But then again we only went 4 months ago and are scheduled to go again. Maybe someone else can help you with this.

And for "Early Booking"....I would say the earlier the better. You never know when "Early Booking" is going to end as it will depend on the number of discounted rooms they have.

Happy planning!!!:D

We have gone on two Disney cruises, but haven't received any discounts... We did receive a CD of tropical music after our second cruise.

I don't remember EVER getting a 'number', but when I booked the second cruise I made sure to tell Tink1 at Your Magical Journeys and we recieved a very nice DCL swim bag and were welcomed as Castaway Club members for the second trip.

I've found that with DCL - booking as soon as the cruise is available is your best price. We need to go in the summer time, and those cruises seem to always sell out from what I've seen. But I'm sure others have much more cruise experience than we do!

Hmmmm:confused: ..after seeing that neither of you had gotten a "number" I had to go dig out what I "thought" I had...

After we cruised in December I got a whole packet in the mail...a cd, info on other cruises, etc.....AND a letter saying "Thank you for sailing with us, blah, blah ,blah,........and here is the Castaway Club Shoreside Survival Kit".:)

And then on the bottom it says" mention the Castaway Club Guest Number on your card when you sail again":D

And there are 4 credit cards at the bottom each with our own name and a seperate number on them.....:?

Or was this not the number you were talking about???:? and then in that case...sorry;)
