Ok, so we got our 50th Anniversary Disneyland planning video and sat down to watch it. Mik has been miserable about the thought of having to go "... all-the-way-to-California" (said as whiny as possible), soI hoped the video would help her see how fun it will be. Well, when they showed the Downtown Disney District, she immediately recognized the box a girl was carrying... the big, white house shaped box that contains your newly stuffed "Build-A-Bear" friend. She was jumping up and down with excitement - "Mommy, can we go there??? Huh??" So, I looked it up and sure enough, there is a BABW right in there :lol: Sooo... if THAT is what is will take to get her to look forward to Sept, then so be it... thanks BABW!

Wonder if they'll have any marathon gear for the bears... :confused: I may just have to build a new friend myself! :D

{hugs}

I can tell you for sure they have a 50th anniversary tee shirt, AND both Mickey and Minnie costumes. Dimples will be HAPPY to accompany Mik to the BABW!

Belle, I always build a bear for me when we go. It is such a kick! I now have two, Fred and Max, that sit on the bed next to Cathy's. So go for it!
And Mik will have a great time too....:rofl:

They carry a Downtown Disney t-shirt there. That store is always busy. Give yourself enough time to play there.

wouldn't that make a fun meet? A Build-a-bear party? I can hear some of the bear names now . . .

Amy . . . Boots
Lisa . . . Nikonia
Claire . . . Queenie
Christine . . . Nunsense - oh wait! That was a play.
hmmmm.

Thats the first place I ever saw a two story build a bear too!! I have done build a bear with my grand daughter in Seattle but never at Disneyland yet.

There are certainly two stories, but they only open up the second floor when the crowds warrant it. We have always been on the first floor when building our bears.
