Hi everyone!

Question to you multi-category cruisers - I am curious about the Navigator's Verandah... is it worth it?

The Cat. 9 rooms have a nice sized porthole at a reasonable price, and the Cat. 6 rooms have a nice balcony for quite a bit more. This Navigator's Verandah falls in the middle... I'm not sure I want to pay that much for the same view I am getting in a Cat 9 with the window punched out :lol: Ok, so you get a breeze... Am I missing something? Is it worth going up to the Cat 6? Help!!!

Thanks!

{hugs}

Belle - if I remember and that is a big if ;) There is a kind of balcony - kind of patio thingy where the balcony would be -- in the two rooms we toured I thought - hey not too bad - could sit out here - not much reason to worry about a child going over the railing no railing more like solid wall- might be worth the money - someday!
But - I can't complain about my (yes it is mine forever now ;) )cabin on the Magic - it was one of the secret porthole rooms. It was the perfect location I could still see around the lifeboat and it was truely magical!!!!!

There are slight differences to each of the Category 7 staterooms. There are a few that have an open view of the ocean while seated and others are more enclosed where you would have to stand to see the ocean. Most have a large porthole you to stand and look out. These are all located on decks 5, 6 and 7 in the aft of the ship.
