I know there are several chain restaurants near Disneyland. I have not been to DL since 2003 and am wondering what restaurants are on Harbour, walking distance to the parks? Anything at Downtown Disney? I have perused the menu selections of the counter service and sit down places in the parks and am not seeing the abundance of healthful items you can get at WDW so I am thinking we may have to go outside the parks to eat and would like to know in advance what options there are.

Downtown Disney has a House of Blues, a Rainforest Cafe and ESPN zone.

http://www.geocities.com/ashpsyche/DisneylandLinkMap.html This is a great link for Hotels and Resturants - AliciaG found it.
I have stayed at Park Place Inn - a Best Western and one of Barb D's favorites and the one next door - Park Vue Inn - I like them both - they are not fancy but the best location to the walkway and they have always been clean and the staff friendly.
As for resturants - Mimi's is a nice place with lots of options, there is also an IHOP and Denny's on Harbor - ok for choices - and a Tony Roma's. Have eaten at all - would choose Mimi's as my first choice.

I agree with BetsyAnn, Mimi's Cafe is a good choice and it's within walking distance. It's on Harbor Blvd near the Howard Johnson hotel. There's an IHOP on Harbor as well...it's OK and is overpriced for what they serve. On Ball Rd there's a restaurant called Cuban Pete's. It's small but was very quiet when I went.
DTD has ESPN Zone, Rainforest Cafe, Jazz Kitchen, House of Blues, Tortilla Joe's (I think that's it. Used to be Arriba y Arriba), and Catal. The bakery isn't anything to write home about. You're better off having breakfast in DL at the Riverbelle.
