Does anyone know how much the Fantasmic dessert buffet costs? I've been to DL a bajillion times, but that buffet thing is not common knowledge, neither is it advertised.
Thanks

My book says $56 per adult.
I was wondering if this would be something the Tag Team would be interested in doing together. It sounds cool.

Fantasmic Dessert buffet.
this is special seat ypou pay for. there are two location for the seats.
One is the disney gallery and the big seating is by the River of the america.
you need to book it about 30 days before the show. the seat do go fast.
Disney will give you coffee, soda ,water and hands side dessert. You do need to check in One hour before the show so a Cast member fill the seats. First come first to seat.
I miss places My information about it and the cost.

We did the balcony seating and have to say the view is awesome, and they let you stay there for the fireworks too. The deserts were ok but not really great and they did not really refill the buffet much. So don't go expecting to substitue this for a late dinner unless you are a light eater. (a few people there when we were thought there was going to be a wider selection of items and were unpleasantly surprised).
They used to do the seating based on first to call was seated first. Now they ahve changed it to first to arrive is seated first.
We would definitely do it again just for the seating!

I think it sounds like a great way to Celebrate the Tag Teams participation in the Inaugural DL half marathon!

The book I was looking at was the Unnoficial Guide to Disneyland. I was thinking about trying to book it. I am interested if anybody else is.

We did that (on the balcony) two years ago. It was great and we had a wonderful time watching Fantasmic from front row seats in the balcony. We were pleased with the desserts (there were more than we could eat) and it was only dessert not a meal at all.

I'm very excited - we have 2 seats on the balcony for the 9pm Fantasmic show March 31st. I tried last year when we went but it sold out immediately even though I was phoning right at 8am. This morning I started speed dialing a few minutes early and just kept hitting the button and I go through. The total price for the 2 of us was $118. I know it's pricey but it's something I really really want to do. Last year I settled for the Riverside seating, it has the same dessert buffet and it was nice but I kept looking back at the balcony wishing I was there. I consoled myself by eating at least a half a dozen chocolate dipped strawberries - yummy!:winking:

Congrats Carol!
I think in March while wandering around the Gallery, I went out onto the balcony they set up the buffet on. Even during the day, had an amazing view of entire area. I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time!

Amy, we're gonna try to book it as a group during the marathon. If we all call, I think our chances are much better of getting it.

I am certainly willing to call. Do we have a headcount? Do you know when we have to call? I'm totally in.

My understanding is that DL has a 60 day window for PS's (they're still called Ps's there) with the exception of the Fantasmic Dessert Buffet. That's 30 days.
Does anyone have conflicting info?

It is actually 1 month before, for example - if you want to go on the 15th of September you phone on the 15th of August. The phone number is not the dining phone number, you must call 714-781-4400. The hours are 8am pst to 5pm. Good luck, start dialing a minute before and then just keep hitting redial. If you can't get the balcony take the riverside seating, it is very good too.

well, did you all book? Please post a report when you get back!
I just booked today for October 15th
i had read on another board :yowsa: (lol) about calling as if you were calling for Cinderella's breakfast back in the day ;)
so i started calling about five minutes b4 & just kept hitting redial when i got the "our ofc is now closed" msg
got thru right @ 11a EDT & it was $118 for the balcony (2 ppl/no child discount) & they charged my card right away
they asked if i wanted balcony or premium seating - i figured it will be a very long time b4 we're back in S Cali so might as well do the balcony while i have the chance
they didn't ask if i wanted the 1st or 2nd show - i guess they just assumed since i was calling so early i must want the early viewing
non-refundable/non-transferable
have to pick up tickets @ guest relations date of reservation & have confirmation #, id & same cc you charged the tickets w/
add'l info: http://www.wdwinfo.com/disneyland-california/disneyland-fantasmic.htm - specific info about dessert buffet about ½ way down the page
somewhere on this www i saw a pic of the keepsake box you get w/ the premium seating but then i read somewhere else that they dont use keepsake boxes anymore (?) - it's a buffet on the balcony &/or riverside
& i cant find the pic now either!!! :crying:
