Thanksgiving Pros & Cons

For all who have been to the "Land" for Thanksgiving, what are your pros and cons for traveling during this time?

Never been there over Thanksgiving. I would guess it would be fairly crowded - but I am the one who goes in the summertime to DL.

We did go one time on Christmas Day -- it was packed. We had a blast - all the people, all the excitement, and we got to ride the Columbia (I think that is the name) which they hardly ever take out!

I havent ever been Thanksgiving either but I went early December in 2001. It was pretty crowded (I went over a weekend) The decorations were really nice. We didnt get to see the Believe Christmas fireowrks because too much wind and they were cancelled every night.

I personally feel anytime is good to go but try to work in a week day so it wont be so crowded the whole trip. Ive gone twice in the end of June/early July and I love it and to me its not too bad crowd wise except Mid day. I think a con of Thanksgiving might be the cooler temperature? I know when we went first week of December I froze to death thinking its California so it has to be warm and I had no jacket with me.

He he he I ended up with a really cuit Tinkerbell Jacket that way!!
