Recently as in last December... lol. But my brother and sister-in-law ate there in July. I didn't really care for it much, and it seemed really overpriced, even by Disney standards. The only thing that was nice was the theming within the restaurant. There's my two cents!

Hi,
My DH & I ate there in March and were disappointed. In the past when we ate there, we always were served way-too-much food and took doggie bags back to our room (OKW), in March the portions were much smaller (price still the same) and the food just wasn't as good. I do believe their pasta is really the best dish served as they make it right on the premises. You might want to try it for lunch instead of dinner.

Now I'm a little worried. This is our dinner package location for the CP. I've heard that it could be hit or miss but I had also heard recent improvements...hmmm not so far from you guys though. We haven't eaten here in years. It was good way back when and then it got really popular, crowded and attitudy. Sigh

Carrousellover, it wasn't that the food wasn't good, it was, it's just that the portion size was extremely small for the inflated price! The bread was great, hard chewy and crusty, just like what was served to us when we were in Italy. (had to ask for butter though, they serve it with olive oil, and although I am not an olive oil expert, it wasn't very good oil imho) The Alfredo was very good, comparative to Olive Garden, the lasagne was very tasty also. We ordered a combination as I recall.
I hope you enjoy it. We were disappointed, but not because of the taste of the food. This place can be a lot of fun at dinner time, with singing music, and napkin waving.

I ate there last Septemeber & it was awful. Bad service and bad food - not a combination. At these prices there are alot of better places to eat in my opinion. :curtsy:

I'm with most of you. We too ate there last October, and not one member of our family liked the food or the portions. IMHO the food was okay, but the price was out to lunch (Pardon the pun) with most of the other wonderful Disney eating establishments.

It's not on our return list.

Hi Carrousellover,

We were there this past Feb. and thought the food was very good like we were used to. We try to go back on every trip. (usually for lunch) Most of the time we prefer a heavy meal early, so we can walk it off! Being from northern NJ, American-Itallian myself and surrounded by some of the best Itallian food in the country this resturaunt can run with the best of them and can come out on top especially in the fettucini department. Pricing is about the same as any good restaurant (not the corner pizza joint) where we are from, portions I would say are the same. Sometimes when you go to a place like The Cheesecake Factory they bury you in overly large portions that leave no room for desert make you feel uncomfortable, you bring home a doggie bag that you never open again.

I hope you enjoy,
alsuzina

I ate there in July...almost 11 years to the day since I last ate there.

I was not impressed in the early 90's with their menu and prices and being of 100% Italian decent I probably was not going to be easy on them anyway.

I was, however, pleasantly surprised. DW and I had a very nice meal and was pleased with the quality of the food and the service.

One caution. It is a good idea to check the menus and prices before going into this restaurant so you will be prepared for the bill. It is one of the more pricey restaurants in WDW so you must be comfortable with the prices before going into the establishment.

This meal was by far the most expensive meal of my July trip but I knew that going in. Also, I had reservations about going in because I was not pleased in the two other visits...hence the 11 year layoff.

I figured after a decade or so things must have improved...and I was right.
