Have we picked a weekend yet??? I will check with DD#2 and see if any of tthe three mentioned earlier is better/worse for her.

so far July seems to be in the lead
June would be a zoo - we were there one time in June - ackkk
all the students just freshly out of school - you couldn't stand sideways.

We do need to pick a date though maybe by next week - hotels start booking up towards the end of February.

LAdy is Myrtle Beach still the place. Hmm only a 2 hour drive from here.

yes it looks like Myrtle Beach, SC is the place -
although the NC coastline is so beautiful there is much more
to entertain in MB -

I haven't left NC out though - maybe we could do a USSNC Battleship tour and lunch in Wilmington/Shops the first day for any early birds and then head to MB for the remainder of the trip. It's a thought :yes:

As soon as we pick a date - we can start planning mini-meets!!!

Just thought I would add:

When we go to M.B. we usually stay at Compass Cove. It's on the south end of the beach. Away from the downtown mess.

that's where we stay also - down on the South end - at a B&B
The Compass Cove looks great - wow all those pools and Lazy River too!

I'm looking at a few inns and other resorts too but that one does look great :yes:

Wonder what everyone thinks - want to book the same hotel or do your own thing for lodging?

As far as lodging I'm all for doing the same thing! Not sure how many of us (if any) will be able to come but I'm still hopeful!

I don't mean to be a party pooper... but since we're comfortable at Compass Cove, if we can make it... we'll stay there. :oops:
