We love to go to Rainforest Cafe on each of our trips but lets face it the meals there can be expensive. If you have a Joe's Crab Shack near you buy a $10.00 Gift Certificate every month or so. Rainforest Cafe & Joe's Crab Shack are owned by Landry's so can be used at any of their restaurants.

That's a great tip! We have Joes Crab Shacks near us, and I never once thought of doing that!!

We joined Rainforest Club several years ago and it has proven a good investment. The day we joined we got money off meal ($5 or $10 if I remember correctly) and then they sent us another $10 voucher for future trip. We periodically receive coupons for anywhere from $5 off to free entree on birthdays, anniversarys, etc. that usually have a 3 or 4 month window of use. Then when we dine there we also use card for further discount as well as almost immediate seating. Also card is good for discount (15 or 20% I think) at gift shop. We joined on a whim while there on a business trip several years ago and it has definitely paid for itself MANY times over!

Barb thanks for the reminder, I plan on joing the Rainforest Club before our next trip. The good thing though is that you can use any of these discounts along with the Gift Certificates I get from Joe's Crab Shack. Once I lucked out on EBay & got $50.00 in Gift Certificates to RFC for $35.00.

I didn't know about the Safari Club. I am going to call today! Only a one time fee of $15.00. Looks like a good deal.

I love to eat at the Rainforest Cafe, but I agree that it's pricey for the portions you receive!!!!!
I'll have to look into the Safari Club, when I was at the Rainforest Cafe at Great Lakes Crossings last week, they mentioned it to me but I just thought it was another club to join that I would never use!!!!
