My friends and I are looking into a Royal Carribean Cruise to Nassau and Cococay. Has anybody ever taken this cruise? We're looking at and Ocean view room, but unsure as to which deck we need. Any advice for some cruise newbies would be appreciated.

Also, any websites you've used successfully to book a cruise would be appreciated.

Cheri,

Is this the 3 night out of Port Can, FL? If so, I did the cruise in March. It was a last minute trip and we had a nice time. Don't know if you've cruised DCL, but the cabins are smaller. Also, it's probably one of the older ships.

I did a 2 part article on 3 Bahamas Cruises including RC.

A good place for info is the message boards on cruisecritic.com

One thing I will mention is that you must take a tender to CocoCay. It's a small boat from your cruise ship to the island. The waters were rough the day we were supposed to visit so did not get there, had a day at sea. Apparently due to the tenders, it is not uncommon to NOT get to CocoCay.

Feel free to post any questions..

Deb

Thanks for the information Deb! I'll have to get over and read those reports. I would love to take a Disney cruise, but my friends aren't as eager, I'm going to keep looking into cruises and I'll check out cruisecritic. Thanks again!
