Favorite Gift Shop

I love many of the Disney Resort Gift Shops. Some of my favorites are those at Animal Kingdom Lodge, Contemporary & Polynesian. Each of these resorts have lots of Disney stuff but also have a nice selection of other items. What is/are your favorite Disney Resort Gift Shop(s)?

Oh, I loved the AKL gift shop! I could have spent a fortune there on African baskets and other unique items. I haven't been to the Poly's yet--can't wait to try it. And maybe since you say it's good I'll take the monorail to the Contemporary's :D

The Beach Club's shop is in a nice space, but they could do a lot more with it in my opinion.

For me it's a 3 way tie among the Meadows Trading Post at Ft Wilderness (better selection there then at the Settlement), the AKL gift shop and the one at Wilderness Lodge

I loved the WL gift shop. The one at the Contemporary was great too. But then again, there was that really great one at the Polynesian...this question was tougher than I thought!

I like the AKL shop the best because it has very good quality goods from Africa, something not found in very many places. I often compare going there to going to a museum. Some of the pieces for sale are certainly art.

I thought the Beach CLub was nice too. It was pretty big like the contemporary one. I also like the COntemporary too.

I used to be enthralled by the shop at the old Dixie Landings...........until I saw the shop at Wilderness Lodge. I love their music section as well as all the moose and bear items. I have a Christmas tree by my desk that never comes down and all it has on it are items from the Lodge shop........Calgon....take me away.........My latest treasure was the snow globe of the Lodge. Rich brought it to the hospital to inspire me to learn to walk again.........It lights up but does not play music.........I cannot wait to find one that plays music.......... :wink:
