I was able to find a resale of 100 points at BCV, which seems to suit our needs perfectly! So we are buying! Woo hoo! My poor husband is about to have a heartattack, he is so nervous about doing this. But since we were going to spend around $1000 on a room for a week next June, it just seemed to make sense to go ahead and buy now. 100 points is just enough for us to go for a week a year, so I'm sure we'll want to add more points once we can afford it. I'm just so happy to be able to "Go Home" again on my next trip, I had to share my news! :D

Wow - good for you! Our current quandry is also a 100 point add-on at BCV. Waitlist just came through - so now lots of teeth grinding on whether there are better resale offers and whether the Contemporary DVC rumours would ever come true 'cause we would absolutely add on there! :wink:

Congratulations! There is nothing like knowing you've got a vacation home for the next 39 years. But be prepared, you will add on. Once you've stayed in a 1 or 2 bedroom (and you will eventually), as wonderful as the studios are, you won't want to go back to a studio.

Well, I've signed on the dotted line & sent in the deposit money. Now we just have to sit tight and cross our fingers that we make it through the ROFR process. We made a full price offer, so the broker seemed pretty sure that Disney would not meet our price, but who knows? I'm not gonna hold my breath! ....But I am already dreaming about staying in a 1 BR unit :) I was looking at the points chart & realized how many fewer points the 1 Brs at OKW are, and thinking about splurging this trip & giving one a try...but maybe that's a bad idea. I might get spoiled. Heehee. Plus, I really LOVE Stormalong Bay, so we may just visit "Home" this year. That is, if everything goes through.
