The winners of the MouseFest 05 Window Decoration Contest is Entry # 2, submitted by Ursulinda and LynneR.

Here's what Linda had to say about her window...

"Entry number 2 is Lynne Rudolph's and mine. We both live in the frozen north and so we wanted a window that was, in effect, a greeting card from our snowy homelands. The window is very much a collaboration - I said and then she said and then it grew from there.

We both love the old cartoons, and the window represents a scene from a 1935 - 8 minute short called "on Ice" and the scene is called 'the Skating lesson'

Thank you everyone for participating in the contest. There were a lot of creative ideas out there and your rooms looked awesome. I enjoyed seeing them.

Does anyone else want to reveal which window entry was yours? Mine was the one with the "Welcome to MouseFest" words in purple (as close to periwinkle as I could find) with everyone's names on it. It was difficult keeping the names stuck to the window as the dew kept making the tape un-sticky.

Again, congrats to Linda and Lynne. Enjoy your lovely Godiva chocolate.

Hugs,
Carrie

Congratulations to LynneR and Ursulinda!

I loved all the entries. I was enchanted with all the love and work put into these festive displays. Thanks to everyone who shared Mousefest in this way.

And thank you, Carrie, for sponsoring the contest. You made it a lot of fun and oh so lovely. :flowers:

A well deserved win! Your window was beautiful, Linda and Lynne.

I think everyone knows which was ours cause it had our names on it. You might have recognized some of the decorations from the midnight elf antics.

Carrie, I loved the one with everyone's names! It was truly in the Mousefest spirit. :)

I wanna know who had all the Pooh stuff. I kept seeing that room just down from ours, and wondered if it was another Taginator.

I really loved all of them.

Ours was #13. The one with a wreath and a bouquet of roses with garlands in it.
We were pretty limited in what we could do on the window at the Swan, so we kept it simple.

 Congratulations Linda and Lynner! Your window was certainly lovely and Disney and seasonal and wow!

Our window was the palm tree with Bernard and Bianca beside them. Frogman says next time he gets to bring the stuff to decorate with.

Congratulations, Linda and Lynner! Great window :mickeyXmas:

I thought all the windows were so much fun. Cannot remember which one was ours - I'd have to go back and check the numbers.
Last year I loved seeing a few windows decorated, so this yr was especially fun seeing so many that were Taginators :D

Enjoy the chocolate!!

All the windows were wonderful and it was so hard to chose just one. I joked with a friend we should have a few categories next year so more people can win. Things like 'best theme' to 'most creative use of garland'. :D

Yeah Lynne and Linda :theWave:

You did a great job. Sure was fun decorating my window. Couldn't have done it without Christine's help and supplies :mickey: :mickey:

Let's do it again next year! :mickeyXmas:

Thank you all very much for your votes! This was great timing, too - Lynne has had the month from H*LL culminated with getting 'rear-ended' so I'm sure Godiva chocolates will be just the 'pick-me-up' she needs.

Thanks Carrie! The chocolates arrived, right on schedule in our 'oh-so-elegant' refurbished room overlooking the monorail at the Polynesian! They fit right in to their surroundings, lol, and were rationed to one piece each a day. Although we did let Moley have one, after her half marathon, in hopes that it would help her warm up!

And I must say, it helped fuel the internal tummy fires enough to keep me from dying. So thanks from me, too. :peri:
