BCV may be selling out soon!

It seems that people are hearing from their DVC guides that Beach Club Villas is about 85% sold out, and could sell out completely in the next 6 - 8 weeks.

Of course, TELLING people that it is selling out quickly might help move sales along too! :) Disney will get that rush of people that don't want to miss out on BCV...

There is also talk of a per point price increase this summer.

I've heard that when BCV sells out, they might start pre-selling Saratoga Springs.

I got a call last night from DVC agent. She didn't say anything about BCV selling out, but she did say the WLV were almost sold out. I thought I heard the same thing about a year ago. We are seriously considering buying into the DVC, but it is taking alot of research and prayer! :D

Disney stopped selling VWL to new members for quite a while and only sold add on points to existing members. Then, I guess they wanted to finish up selling at VWL so they opened it back up to everyone fairly recently. They are also buying up resales more than they used to, and reselling those as well.

Its a BIG investment, and not one to take lightly! It has to be right for you and your family.

In the 11 years that we've been members, I never saw anything like what they did with VWL.

It most definitely was "sold out", then, from out of nowhere, it wasn't.

The only other time where additional inventory was available at resorts was when they converted Sales Centers over to units. This wasn't the case at VWL, and it's still unclear as to how/why this happened.

I'm glad that it did. It enabled us to addon a nice sized VWL membership that matched our OKW use year.

LOL - that is so true dvcreg! Vero has been almost sold out for as long as I'm been researching and then a member - so well over 3 years! I think BCV is doing a BIT better than that - but you never know! :D

I have heard that for every resort Disney has since I've been reselling. Just like Tagrel mentioned, they do it to "encourage" us to buy more points...playing on the fear of loss emotion we all have.

They have always estimated wrong on the sellout dates when reporting them to the public. BW was the one that sticks in my mind the most...I heard they were going to be "sold out in 6 weeks" for at least 3 months.
Of course Vero Beach has become funny at this point. If they would lower the annual dues I have no doubt it would sell out twice as fast.
