Can you share what it was like? How many days? What did you especially like about it and what would you wish was better planned?

What type of adult activities were offered? If you dont drink and Gamble what is there to do on the cruise?

We went on our first cruise in Oct. 2001. the 4-night on the Wonder. We loved it and are going on the 7-night Western on Nov. 8th.

We don't drink or gamble (ok the occassional slot in Vegas...) and we found things to do to the point we didn't even get off the ship in Freeport and only spent 1 hour off the ship in Nassau! Also we didn't think the 4-night was nearly enough time to do all there was to do!
The food was great, the entertainment spectacular, and I can't even describe how great the ship and staff were. Outside of meals and shows we participated in a trivia game one day in the lounge for families and another evening before dinner we took part in a game show.
Looking for on the 7-night to trying the spa.
Oh and they do offer bingo several times throughout the cruise.

Hi Barb, I'll be on the same cruise with Lisa on Nov. 8th. This will be our first cruise and I am really getting excited. I think Lisa and I feed on each other's excitement. We can't wait to meet aboard the ship (or before.)
The best piece of advice that I would give anyone would be to buy the "Passporter's Field Guide to the Disney Cruise Line." It's chuck full of everything you need to know about the cruise. It also has tons of links for various newsgroups along with their own "Passporter" forum.
May I suggest the great gals at "Your Magical Journey," to get the very best deal. You simply can't go wrong with Disney 8) !!! Figgy

I've done the 3-night and the 4-night and just loved them. The shows in the theatre are amazing. Disney Dreams won several cruise industry awards and I don't doubt that the newest show, The Golden Mickeys will do so as well. In fact, I think I'd rate GM higher than DD personally. Both are just awesome though.

The food is very good and the entertainment throughout the day is terrific. There are pool games at the adult pool in the afternoon, you can visit the spa, you can visit the nightclubs and enjoy the themed evenings even if you don't drink. You can sit out in the sun doing nothing! :) It is just fabulous!!! There are also family activities in Studio Sea that you can enjoy even if you don't have kids. Match Your Mate is fun from what I've heard. You can see first run movies in the cinema onboard ship. You can play shuffleboard out on deck 4. You can visit with the characters. :) Not sure if you consider bingo in there with gambling, but that is fun to try one afternoon/evening.

I went on the Disney Magic 7 day Eastern Cruise. It was totally awesome. We went to the shows, movies, they had Christmas caroling, we made ginger bread houses, we played bingo. They have ESPN club, piano bar, comedy club and tons of shore trips too.

I've done em all, Barb 8) My favorite was the Western Caribbean Itinerary... LOVED Key West and Cozumel! :minnie: AND I liked have a port alternating with each sea day... two sea days in a row (ie The Eastern Caribbean itinerary) is just a little too much of a crowded ship for me

Four night is OK, especially if you do Freeport instead of Nassau. Three nights just isn't long enough... you are just figuring out where everything is on the ship and it's time to get oof :P

Food is just OK, but it gets a little better each time we cruise. Entertainment is... well.... :tink: DISNEY

Adult nightlife is one of the best of all the different cruises I've done :D

Here's a little more info from the times I've cruised:

BarbD, I went on the 3 day last February and will go on the four day this March. You will have a GREAT time! I echo the sentiment that there is a ton to do even if you don't drink or gamble, as I don't do either.

That is the only drawback of the cruise, there is SO much to do that if you don't make solid plans before the cruise of what is going to be "together" time, you might find out that you don't see each other much!

I have never been on a Disney Cruise but I thought I saw on the Travel Channel Disney Cruise Special that Disney Cruises did not have gambling. Did I just dream that?

I want to hear all about the Dis cruises. We are hoping to do this with my sisters family and our parents in July 2005. Dylans 5th birthday and my parents retirement. Right now were thinking the 4 day cruise, but have not looked into that much. Any suggestions or info would be greatly appreciated.
