Resort Location

How come there are no resorts listed as a MGM Resort? Caribbean Beach Resort sits right next door to the entrance to MGM but is listed as an Epcot Resort. It is sort of across from the Epcot Resorts but to get to Epcot you have to go all the way around to the front of Epcot. The soon to be opened Pop Century is even closer to MGM but is listed as an Animal Kingdom Resort. Anyone have a guess why?
