Reserving a town car

How far in advance do you reserve the town car from the airport? And do you call and confirm the night before you leave? Do you have to call again for the return trip?

This is the first time I am considering a town car and I'm not sure how to go about it. Any help would be appreciated.

I usually reserve as soon as I make my Room Reservation or my Flight Reservation. I have only used Tiffany Town Car & they send you a confirmation e-mail back that I print & file away. I then either call or e-mail them a week prior to verify. This is a fun way to travel.

I'd give the towncar company at least a week's lead time to schedule a driver. I set up my rides usually as soon as I know my dates and call a week before my departure from home to reconfirm as insurance.

On our last trip in June I thought I had all of our ressies in place only to find I had forgotten to schedule a town car. Called Happy Limo 2 days before we left and they said "no problem". I also call the night before we are to leave WDW to confirm pick up time.

Atlantis Limo use to have a pretty good rate when we went in June for a Town car. I think it was like $80 round trip with a 15 minute grocery stop. Just thought I'd let you know. You know how I LOVE deals! LOL I made the reservation when I found a good rate and then I called the day before as well as emailed them my grocery list. I'm seriously considering doing this again.

Definitly confirm this with Tiffany Town Car (if you choose to use them) but last July 2003 they requested that I call a week before the arrival date and wouldn't schedule anything before then. They were very prompt and professional. I'll certainly use them again next time . :D
