:tink: I didn't expect to like this show but wanted to give it a try. I missed it the first week as I was back east & visiting that evening.

DH & I watched the show together & we both loved it! I really didn't expect him to like it at all either. Also, I forgot that John Ritters son plays the son in the wheelchair & all I could see every time I looked at his son was John Ritter. I cried. Loved John Ritter. His son has talent. We both enjoyed the show.

The next day my husband was at his new job & asked a woman that was putting gear on to go into the blasting room if he could observe her because he'll be expected to do it shortly. She was fine & they started to talk a little & she interupted & said, "Is your wife a nurse?" Then she stopped & said, "I don't know why I said that." My husband said that yes his wife is a nurse. But, when this happened he had a very visual picture of his deceased mother in his mind. It was as though she was letting him know that he's where he should be after this horrible 18 months. Then they both talked about Joan Of Arcadia & had both seen the show. He asked her if there was anything else she had to tell hiim  They had a good laugh at that.

Gotta go, new season of Sopranos is coming on. :tink:

:tink: I'm just surprised that nobody on this site has watched or enjoyed this show. It keeps me coming back week after week. I truly love this show. :tink:

Dh and I want to check it out, but our PVR is already too busy on Friday nights trying to record While You Were Out, What Not to Wear, Reba, Hope and Faith, and Life With Bonnie. Most nights, there's nothing on that we want to watch! The only way I can do it, as it is, is because we get all the WB stations- in 3 different time zones :rotfl:

:tink: Thank-you all for the kudos regarding my recommending this show which won at the Peoples Choice Awards as the best new Drama Series. And who can resist Joe Mantagna? She did lose out last night (Golden Globe Awards), to some very stiff competition. She's young, she'll be on stage again. :tink:
