21:13:20 [safeAwhirl] You can see how annoying this is sometimes for CM's who work rides that this is frequent on

21:16:48 [safeAwhirl] I had an e-stop on the Haunted Mansion a few times, 2 times for wheelchair assistance, and once because some clowns were getting out of their doombuggy and thought they were outsmarting the system
21:17:30 [safeAwhirl] NEVER get out of your doombuggy without assitance, or the one next to you is one fire, but be careful, as in some parts of the mansion, there is no floor!

21:33:56 [safeAwhirl] and further to that, heres a hypothetical. You are queued up for Space mountain. You reach the front of the line, and you notice the last car leaving the drop point to arrive in front of you and there is a loose bottom wheel..or something noticeable. Do you ride?

21:35:57 [BetsyAnn] DL had a live mule or horse ride in Frontierland for a few years. I was riding and the saddle loosened and keep sliding to the side. I was able to stay on the mule by pulling the saddle back upright and talking queitly to the animal

21:36:53 [PaulF] I can give you a Cedar Point for instance though. We rode on the Gemini, which is a twin steel coaster that looks like a woody. We rode it after we walked by and smelled hydraulic fluid. Skydrol (phosphate esther based fluid) has a very distinctive smell and we knew it immediately. lol

21:37:36 [BetsyAnn] The animal and I had it worked out- until the CM noitced as we got back to the start and rushed us - the animal bolted upright several times -- I held on tight -- My dad lifted me off the mule while the CMs were being very unsmart
21:38:00 [PaulF] I don't trust the ride operators any more than I trust the head chef at McDonald's. It's the maintenance guys who inspect the thing daily that you need to depend on.
