21:06:39 [DisneyPam] But I am a big proponent of DVC not being for everyone. If you are not interested in staying on property or if you always have to have a monorail resort then you shouldn't do DVC.

21:11:43 [Rosebud] Speaking of Monorails, Val told me they are not letting you on the resort monorail at the TTC in the morning. If you go up the ramp they just direct you to the front of the regular monorail, and the people going up the other ramp go to the back of the regular monorail - or vice versa.

21:20:31 [Rosebud] I love to go up to the roof during the day and go out on the walkways - even though I'm scared to death of the height.
21:20:33 [Joe] I think we were on the 9th floor Will. Far enough up to have a great view of the resort. And no, Rosebud, we could not hear any of the noise going on in the concourse. The rooms were very quiet.
21:21:21 [WillCAD] I've never been out on the roof of Contemp. How do you get out there?
21:21:37 [Joe] And Pam, I have to agree with Will. You are missing some of the best Prime Rib at WDW.
21:21:59 [Joe] You have to go out through the California Grill Will.
21:22:36 [Rosebud] Take the elevator to the 15th floor and walk out. You can no longer do it during the fireworks unless dining at the Cal Grill, but I'm sure they let you do it during the day. And during the day you can walk to the opposite side of restaurant and go out there too.
21:22:40 [WillCAD] Ah Ha. I went up to CG once to take pics out the windows, but didn't make it onto the roof. Next time...

21:24:55 [WillCAD] When waiting for your tabel at Chef Mickey's, what do you like to do? I love to grab a soda at the bar and look out the windows in that little alcove behind the bar.
21:25:07 [Rosebud] Only ate there once since they changed it to Chef Mickey's, but ate there when it was the other buffet a couple of times.
21:25:09 [Joe] And don't forget, the Contemporary has the best arcade of any of the Hotels.

21:28:41 [Joe] No Will, they are ok. But I don't think they hold a candle to the Poly.
21:29:10 [Rosebud] I've only gone out the front and back door to the boat launch area, but from what I could see not at all
21:29:40 [WillCAD] How about the Contemp's pools? Are they special, or just square holes filled with water?
21:30:22 [Rosebud] They did add a slide to the pool right out the back door - I'm pretty sure it wasn't originally there. But not really anything special.
21:30:30 [Joe] I think their pool is still the original. Remember, the Contemporary was the first hotel to open at the World. It's been around a long time.
21:31:20 [WillCAD] The pool deck looks very pleasant. Too bad no-one ever thought to put a pool on the roof!

21:38:24 [Rosebud] I love the GF at Christmas Time - for me this beats the WL. I love the Victorian Look and with Christmas Decorations - WOW!

21:40:59 [JeanC] Pool and beach are great, and wonderful big thick beach towels at the pool. You had to sign for them when we were there so you wouldn't walk off with them, I guess.
21:41:06 [Rosebud] I never found it that stuffy. We did see this one group of ladies getting there picture taken though, and just the way they posed you could tell they had LOTS of money.

place to sleep - maybe a place to eat but not a bed!
