Begin at the End

Begin at the End was the first Tagrel.com MouseFest meet ever held, and continues to be very popular. Despite being held on Wednesday, before the bulk of MouseFesters even get into town, last years attendance was over 30 people (and every one of us enjoyed placing Ponichi-kun in mock jeapardy!)

When signing up, please mention how many people in your party, and whether you're on the Disney Dining Plan or have a Disney Dining Experience card.

Sign up deadline reached, but others may meet up with the group afterward for chat,  pictures and to continue on to the FW Lights and Dogs Tour!

Fort Wilderness Lights and Dogs Tour!

The Legend of Boone and Crockett

Born to simple, bandanna wearing parents with a love for headgear with mouse ears, Boone was adopted as a pup by a couple settling in America to sell covered wagons for the great trek West, while Crockett was adopted by a couple headed north to create the first bank/pin shoppe in the Canadian wilderness. The brothers were reunited in Florida when the two couples came to explore the magical waters surrounding Kissimmee. Drawn by some inner voice to the only forest with a castle view, they found their home.

For decades Boone and Crockett, the pioneer dogs of Fort Wilderness Campground and Resort, have lavishly decorated their campground for the holiday season. Some of the campers even join in the celebrations.

This year, Boone and Crockett invite all Taginators to come and enjoy their festive home during MouseFest! Oooh and Aaaah over the decorations. See RV owners enjoying the fact Disney pays for the electricity with 27 meters of lights per site and inflatables everywhere. Bring your cameras to photograph the holiday festivities and bring your voice to join in the sing-a-long, including a special holiday carol written especially for the tour!

After your tour of the lights, their descendants Elphie, Morgan & Casey Boone and Zak & Zoë Crockett will have some refreshments for you, featuring treats from their home regions and not available anywhere else! Plus, you take home your very own exclusive pin featuring Boone and Crockett!

Tomorrowland Big 3 Meet

At 4 pm on Thursday, December 11, we will take on the big three in Tomorrowland.

* Work with Buzz to defeat Zurg,
Travel through the decades with the Carousal of Progress (if it is open of course)
* Then the scarcest attraction of all time - yes that one - The TTA! And you thought we were going to say Space Mountain. While Space Mtn is a laughing place for most of us, it does not hold the pure thrill appeal of TTA. Hands up and off we go on a first gear ride around Tomorrowland. If you have not experienced TTA in this way, then you have not experience the TTA!

Hollywood Tagomania!

Take a leapfrog back to childhood! Come join us for Hollywood Tagomania at Hollywood Studios' Toy Story Midway Mania! Remember when you were first learning to share your toys? Remember the joy of your little friend sitting next to you as you both systematically destroyed every plaything you owned? We will recreate that joy with the added bonus of humiliating that friend with your superior shooting power.

For those of you who never do well with these target games, never fear. Big Red has already summed up your ride experience, "It's going to suck when I only get 3 points." However, be assured you won't be alone. Many of us have not done this ride before and we will be right with you in Toy Loserville.

Due to the popularity of this ride, we may have only a 50-50 chance of getting on it together before MouseFest 2009. That won't keep us from trying. We are Tagomaniacs. A little thing like a two hour standby line or a Fast Pass return at midnight will not discourage us. This event will be limited to Taginators only. The last thing we need is Lou Mongello showing up and landing a perfect score.

Stop, Drop and Roll!

Are you ready to Stop, Drop & Roll?!! Did you miss this last year? Wanna do it again? If you answered yes to any of the above...we've got the meet for you.

STOP - We'll meet at 2:30pm at the wall directly across from the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster fastpass machines. We'll say hello, and then each get a fastpass for Rock 'n' Roller Coaster.

DROP - Let's discover what lies beyond the fifth dimension...beyond the deepest, darkest corner of the imagination...in the Tower of Terror. We'll use the standby line for this one. This will be a great opportunity for a meet photo in our own elevator!

ROLL - G-Force Records has a super stretch limo waiting just for us. We'll move right thru to the garage with our fastpasses, and make it in time for the show.

Open to ALL MouseFest Attendees

Gift Exchange 2008

Everyone who wishes to play brings a wrapped gift - their name is added to a box. After the first name is drawn, that person picks any gift they wish - they open it and show it to the crowd. That person then picks the next name and they get to EITHER pick a new present or they give that present to the first person, taking the one they already opened.   This makes your goal to be the last person drawn so you can choose from ALL the gifts.  Gifts should be in the $15 - $20 price range.

Capture the Magic Meet

CAPTURE THE MAGIC CONTINUES
DESPITE TROUBLED ECONOMY

Higher fuel prices change the game but the fun continues

Capture the Magic Airlines™ today announced several changes to its ever popular “Capture the Magic Meet”. Reports indicate that customers could start seeing the changes roll out as early as Sunday December 14, 2008 between 1:00 and 2:30 PM. The service fee for camera bags when traveling to any of the Magic Kingdom’s seven lands will now be $15. Strollers, or items that require special handling will increase to anywhere from $100 to $215 depending on the items and how much it would fetch on Ebay if “lost”. The new fees will apply to anyone participating in the 2008 MouseFest meet.

“With record-breaking fuel prices, we must pursue new revenue opportunities, while continuing to utterly humiliate ourselves in the name off good clean fun, by tailoring our products and services around what Tagrel.com members value most and are willing to pay for,” says Frogman, executive vice president of marketing and self promotion.

Capture the Magic Airlines™ estimates that the new service fees will apply to one out of three players, and the potential revenue from baggage handling service fees, including those for checking a first and second bag, will be approximately $275 million a year. Barrie, executive vice president of day to day camera operations, was heard screaming “WAHOO” right before quickly putting a new flash on order at Amazon.com.

The full color meet booklets, a highlight from years gone by, will also be seeing corporate cutbacks. Now, instead of one booklet per member, each team will receive ONE complimentary booklet to share collectively. Printing and assembly however will NOT be transferred overseas as earlier rumored and will in fact remain at the Seattle based MissB-using Lottsa Inc. Additional booklets may be printed for a nominal fee after the meet via a link to be provided at a later time.

"The operational profits of Capture the Magic Airlines™ are a fraction of what they were in 2006," MissBianca, owner and operator of MissB-using Lottsa Inc. told reporters. "Unfortunately it was one portion of our meet that was identified as an area where we could save some costs. Until we as a country lower our dependency on foreign inks I can’t fathom things going back to the way they were. Be right back, I heard the doorbell and I think my new ink cartridges are here!"

Drinks and snacks during Capture the Magic Flights have also been eliminated, though each will be available to players at their own expense at various stands located throughout the lands. Coca-Cola products will now be starting at $2.39 + tax. Food offerings will range from small snacks to full meals, see your flight attendants prior to boarding for details. Alcoholic beverages as always are not available on any flights departing from, or arriving into the Magic Kingdom.

“We knew that we would have to make some changes, and cut some costs but we here at Capture the Magic Airlines™ truly feel the one thing that we will not be decreasing is the magic. They will still have just as much fun as ever,” Dr. P. Book Wood, Professor of Clue Anatomy at Valparaiso University affirmed. “We are doing everything we can to continue to bring this meet to the masses year in and year out including having everyone run slower to lessen drag. In the end it is about those moments that can’t happen any other time, like seeing Deb Wills scream out for someone to show some skin. Yes, Capture the Magic Airlines™ is changing with the times- but it’s ready to take flight once again!”

About Capture the Magic Airlines™
Capture the Magic Airlines™ (NASDAQ: CTMA) operates roughly one meet a year available to any members of Tagrel.com and their families. Flights originate at the rose garden in the Magic Kingdom promptly at 1:00. It is suggested that all players arrive at least 10 minutes prior to their flight’s departure to the seven lands of the Magic Kingdom. Each team, consisting of up to 5 members (or 6 since no one is following the rules!), is required to supply ONE camera which they will use to complete the photograph “scavenger hunt”. Capture the Magic Airlines™ is not responsible for dead batteries, full memory cards, or damage from laughter induced urination. Each “clue” will be worth a predetermined amount of points to be decided by a celebrity panel of ex-Disney star’s dogs featuring the Chihuahuas of Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and Lindsay Lohan. At the completion of the flight teams must PROMTPLY return to the Rose Garden where points, and miscellaneous fares will be tallied. Upon arriving home the camera owner will be expected to upload all their shots THIS website. By participating in the meet you agree that Capture the Magic Airlines™, its affiliates, and photochoppers like WDWNJ may use your photos for any purposes they deem suitable.

Sign-up for your flight today. Be sure to request seating preferences by listing your team name and the screen name of every member of your team. Tickets are non-transferable, non-refundable, and not worth a thing on the black market. Various members of Capture the Magic Airlines™ may ask you for photo I.D. prior to boarding. Due to budget concerns frisking by trained security personnel will not be included effective immediately. Instead Capture the Magic Airline hosts with no training at all will perform random frisking just for their own amusement. Hope to see you on board!
